Hi,

I'm new to the forum and based in Cornwall. I am just starting out on the road to a full rebuild of my 1985 Beta Coupe VX although I have very few mechanical and bodywork skills - well what can go wrong? I have owned the car since 2000 but now it definitely needs some serious attention. I have 90% stripped the car and I am suprised how many parts came off it! Some of the labels have also come off the parts so it may be a challenge putting it all back together but I won't worry about that as it may be years away. Also have a 1984 Beta Coupe IE that is 'resting' at present so I will not get bored if I ever complete the VX

Anyway I will get some photos up when there is some progress.

Welcome Simon,

Glad to hear of another car making its way back to the road.

If you get stuck identifying parts then the forum will no doubt have someone who knows...... right down to the really obscure tiny bits and bobs!
