Title: Recommended supplier/maker for Spyder Post by: peteracs on June 09, 2010, 05:23:44 AM Hi All
If anyone has a recommended supplier of these for a S2 Spyder 1600, it would be appreciated, stainless or not would be of interest. Mine is well on its way and will need replacing soon unfortunately. Will need both box sections. I am happy to hear about 'make your own' solutions as well if that is appropriate. Thanks Peter Title: Re: Recommended supplier/maker for Spyder Post by: Ammy on June 09, 2010, 02:46:45 PM Peter,
I fitted a complete stainless system to my Spyder in 1997 which is still excellent. I have checked with the Company and they are still in business. They are in Devon and the tel no. is 01884 821237 Hope this helps. Many thanks for the replies. I was aware of the Betaboyz offering which was my starting point. I have spent a fair amount so far on the the renovation of the Spider this year and my current dilema is whether to patch up the exhaust to get it legal for this year and invest in a stainless one next year or just spend the extra money straight away. I have a tatty, but ok back box and downpipe and buying a steel main box and make do do until next year was the low cost option. All the best Peter Title: Re: Recommended supplier/maker for Spyder Post by: rossocorsa on June 11, 2010, 08:04:27 AM Hi P D Gough's in Nottingham are excellent - did my spyder http://www.pdgough.co.uk/ (http://www.pdgough.co.uk/) gerry i had a dedra turbo one done years ago there ridiculously expensive but quality excellent Title: Re: Recommended supplier/maker for Spyder Post by: TonyLanciaBeta on June 11, 2010, 01:07:58 PM one more thing to add about the Betaboyz systems
they are made off the car, and posted so no need to take your car halfway across the country to have it fitted. Title: Re: Recommended supplier/maker for Spyder Post by: thecolonel on June 11, 2010, 05:48:16 PM And ,in my opinion, they're made by one of the best companies in the UK
