Title: Italian Wheels ~ EBay item
Post by: The_Matrix_Master on May 25, 2024, 02:00:13 PM
Has anyone come across these wheels before ?
Says Lancia Beta Italian made Speedline
But can't say I've seen them before ?
What are the rules post Brexit ?
Are you hit with an automatic 20% vat hit on top of the purchase and shipping cost ?

No idea on them, but you need to ask the seller if the price includes VAT which will need to be paid unless you get them sent to a friend in the EU….

I think these wheels were specific (optional?) for the special edition of the coupé named Laser.
Could be that they were only available on the Italian market.

I knew I'd seen these recently. This wheels looks like those on the Lampinen Ice racing Beta from the late 70's. Here's a photo of the Beta wearing those wheels in full understeering drift with a 124 spider and SAAB 93 in the background. The wheels are barely visible but identifiable.

I think Peter is right regarding VAT, but I think your will pay import duty in addition. See above on link below.

According to the HMRC calculator for wheels imported from EU, the tax is zero, so just VAT.
