Title: Can someone with a Spider do some measuring for me? Post by: mangocrazy on June 23, 2023, 12:18:29 AM I've been thinking on forking out on a set of Quickjacks for quite a while, but have finally realised they're not going down in price and if I want a set I need to splash the cash. Unfortunately I'm not sure which version to go for and (more importantly) which version will suit our cars best. Basically I need to know the crucial measurements outlined in the picture below. I've also linked to a PDF that the vendors supply, here:
https://www.costco.co.uk/medias/sys_master/pdf/hfd/h52/137780568391710.pdf (https://www.costco.co.uk/medias/sys_master/pdf/hfd/h52/137780568391710.pdf) I need measurements B, C and D (a Beta's kerb weight is comfortably lower than the base model's upper weight limit). Mine is a Spider, although I believe that a Coupe has the same vital dimensions. Title: Re: Can someone with a Spider do some measuring for me? D = 20 cm with my higher profile 1300 tyres. B = 190 cm C is a bit subjective but I would say 150 cm Hope that helps. Title: Re: Can someone with a Spider do some measuring for me? Basically it means that the model I was hoping to go for (the 5000TL) is the one that appears to be most suitable, so definitely a result. Time to disturb the moths in the wallet... |
