Title: Radiator repair or new. Post by: markholli on September 26, 2022, 10:43:28 PM My beta coupe 2.0ie has a leaky radiator. I can’t see any new beta radiators on the web. Any suggestions about a similar shape replacement? Also any recommendations of radiator specialists, I’m based in Hampshire and tempted to go down the route of taking the car to someone to see what they can do. Thanks. Mark

The great advantage of this site v Facebook etc. is that you have years, even decades of previous advice on tap.

I am assuming you have plastic tanks top and bottom? These may be recorable, but you would have to enquire on radiator refurbisher. I used Lincolnshire Radiators in Lincoln to recore my early all metal radiator, but that would be a much more traditional fix. Peter Title: Re: Radiator repair or new. I'd get it done properly. I had a plastic (top and bottom) Beta radiator that was re-cored by Aem Group Ltd in Shropshire (https://www.aemgrouptelford.co.uk (https://www.aemgrouptelford.co.uk)). As Chris says go to a specialist who does this job all the time and then you can fit and forget hopefully. I had it recored by a local company here in Sittingbourne. He's an old schooler, not on the internet. I'm sure you'll find a more local company to help you. Nigel |
