A question for VX owners: where does the top of the dipstick tube bolt to? I suspect there's an additional bracket somewhere which I'll have to make. I'm not even sure in which direction the tube points. Tube itself bolts via a L shaped bracket on the top end of the tube to what i can only describe as a triangular shaped plate that bolts onto the distributor adaptor at the distributor end of the exhaust cam box with a 10mm nut and bolt - its exactly the same as an injection car. Look at the back of the distributor and it should be there unless its missing?

The gearbox is going into a carb car ,so no distributor up there. I'll figure out somewhere to fix it to. Regards Nigel |
