Title: fuse meltdown! Post by: jimincov on November 23, 2020, 07:15:07 PM I hate these fuses!
i ran my heater blower for afew minutes flat out to try and dry out the carpet after a heater water leak (turns out the matrix / heater valve leaks if slider set to cold!) with the following results... Im guessing the motor is drawing more current than normal.... thinking about disconnecting the heater plumbing and getting the matrix & blower motor out for inspection. gotta clean up that fuse box now.. keeps me off the streets! Also buy some modern relays because vintage parts in this area is trouble you do not need. Good Luck Eric Title: Re: fuse meltdown! I believe that this is in parallel with the heater motor, so you need to disconnect the wires to measure it. Take a pic first.
