Title: After market alloy wheels, clearance for spacer and disc retaining bolts Post by: rossocorsa on August 07, 2020, 07:26:53 PM As above what are members solutions for the above when the recess on the inner side of the wheel isn't quite large enough? Removing a small amount of the alloy has been suggested which I can do but I would really prefer to keep the wheels in standard condition. I suppose that the wheel bolts will keep the disc etc located but I'd rather that these were securely located if I have the wheel off.

When I use spacers I have countersunk fixing bolts so there is no bolt on the surface to interfere with the wheel. BTW I also have rolled arches at the rear.
PS the factory track is wider at the front than the rear for performance reasons. They made it less for the later cars. I hope this helps.
