Title: Sump gasket Post by: mangocrazy on December 17, 2019, 08:44:37 PM What is the best material for a sump gasket? I'm intending to fit my sump to the block in the next few weeks and my gasket set has a rubber sump gasket. I'm aware that cork sump gaskets are also available - which is the most suitable material?
Title: Re: Sump gasket Post by: rossocorsa on December 18, 2019, 01:17:36 AM My instinct says rubber but I don't know the technicalities or if I'm right. You can change the fixing method for the sump to nuts and studs which is, if I recall correctly, the GC preferred method
