At the timing belt end I use the very end bolts on the cam housings with a bit of chain linked to all 4

Title: Re: Lifting engine Post by: mangocrazy on April 26, 2019, 08:12:12 PM In the past I've just tied heavy duty rope around and through the inlet and exhaust manifolds and hooked the lifting eye through a hefty carabiner clipped onto the ropes in the V between the cam covers. The engine needs to come out with the gearbox hanging low in order to negotiate the NS wing, and this approach automatically ensures that.
