Title: Identifying the Weber DATR variants Post by: Betared on November 30, 2017, 06:03:07 PM Hi, my 1985 2000 Beta is fitted with a carb. with the following stamped on the flange at the base 34 DATR 2/250 BO. I have two others which have been cannibalised over the years and have 34DATR 2/250 F9 and34 DATR 1/250 G9 respectively. Can anyone enlighten me as to what the letters and numbers refer to specifically? I do know that the A means an automatic choke, which is a start.
Cheers, David. Title: Re: Identifying the Weber DATR variants Post by: Betared on October 14, 2023, 11:51:33 PM Hi, it's 6 years since I posted this question without any answers and we are working on another Beta with fueling problems so thought I'd try again to get an answer. ???
Title: Re: Identifying the Weber DATR variants Post by: HFStuart on October 15, 2023, 09:13:40 PM I don't know for sure but I suspect it was just the jetting - there's almost no difference between the carbs. If you look at the technical data book the only difference between the 1/200 and 2/200 is the superfeed jet. Pretty much everything else is the same. I thought it might be venturi sizes going from the 1600 to the 2000 but no.
Classiccarbs.co.uk will sell you data sheets for £6 each so for £12 you could do a spot the difference. |
