I picked up a 1982 Spider last summer which was in reasonable condition, and I'm slowly working on it to use as a summer car. So far so good, Day and Whites at Brands Hatch have given the engine and mechanics a once over and its currently being re-upholstered in a nice chestnut tan leather. The car was originally light blue but I am told that it had a black re-spray in 1988. It's a pretty poor paint job with lots of micro blisters and a respray is definitely on the wish list, although I think that the paint job has pretty much preserved the body work as there is almost no rust. Reg is SRB 512X and I wonder if anyone has had any past experience with this car. It's my first 'classic' so keen to find out about the history of it. Many thanks Nav Title: Re: New Owner. Welcome to the forum. You can apply to the DVLA for a list of previous owners. I forget the form name, hopefully someone here can help with it. Sorry no knowledge personally.
