Title: Servo pipe clip and non return valve position Post by: peteracs on January 05, 2017, 08:32:07 AM Hi All
Quick questions on carb pre f/l S2 Spyder I am putting back together 1 - Can someone let me know where the servo pipe to the carb is supported. I see a clip in the parts book, and have looked at the Haynes which has one photo of HPE bay showing what I think is it attached to the battery tray, though unclear. 2 - my parts book implies the non return valve is situated near to the servo, but the photo in the Haynes manual has it located near the carb. Logically I would say the carb end, but where do others have it located? Thanks Peter Title: Re: Servo pipe clip and non return valve position Post by: HFStuart on January 07, 2017, 11:57:02 AM The clip is secured to the battery tray via a bolt on the side if the tray iirc. The non return valve is about 4" away from the carb - it's not at the servo end.

I can see a stud on the battery tray support bracket near the servo and two holes in the base of the battery tray which could take a bolt. pm me your email ( sorry I've misplaced it) and I'll send a pic that just shows it. Title: Re: Servo pipe clip and non return valve position Post by: Ammy on January 08, 2017, 12:37:01 PM Are these any help ?

Thanks for the photos, I have all the info I need now, attached is the photo from Stuart of the pre f/l, so in the thread we have both styles of carb f/l and pre f/l, general consensus is the non return valve is up near the carb, not at the servo end which makes sense.
