Title: Volumex HPEs Post by: Neil-yaj396 on July 12, 2016, 06:16:48 AM Amongst much discussion at Betameeta was the topic of the increasing scarcity of HPEs. So it was heartening to note that this months Viva Lancia contains mention of two;
Omicron are working on one. Interesting, because despite their great reputation they were distinctly dismissive to me when I tried to order a clutch cable from them. Right or wrong I felt that their attitude related to me being a Beta owner. Secondly there is a VX HPE for sale. Owner since 1990, 70,000 miles, sounds good value at £3500. I felt that might say more about their charges than attitudes of Beta owners. The work they do is of good quality but I think you can get as good for less. After being talked down to for a minute or so instead of being helped I decided to enquire elsewhere!
