Title: Fabiana - My '79 Beta Spyder MkII
Post by: hmj on May 04, 2016, 04:56:16 PM
Hi names Howard, and I was hankering to get a vintage and classic car, I have always loved but wasn't intending on getting an italian sports car, only because I thought one would be way out of my small budget. In my search I happened upon the Beta Spyder and it was love at first sight! After reading up on the marque it continued ticking all the boxes and even Clarkson's youtube video condemnation was not going to deter me form the Marque and Model ?

I figured if I found a roadworthy one today with current mot, after 37 yrs of living in the UK environment that it couldn't be all that bad. So a while later and enter Fabiana as I have named her. I'm intoxicated with enthusiasm for her at the moment and just forming a `to do' list, which includes paint blister repairs, full service, and replacing missing items to make her 100% complete; and if not 100% original at least 100% Spyder.

I will be posting updates along the journey.

Hi, nice looking spyder! Did I note you are near Daventry? I'm in Warwick so if Fabiana is looking for a coupe buddy its not too far! If you need any work done I can highly recommend Autocasa in Coventry, Enzo is fantastic and did a great job sorting out the mess that so called specialist Richard Thorne made of my engine.
