Title: Question of parts interchangeability between models Post by: betasulo on December 07, 2015, 06:13:26 PM Dear All,
I was wondering if CV joints and speedometer cables have the same part numbers across all models? Also the Haynes manual talks of gearbox and engine dampers. How important are these two as I have never had them on my car. Any information on the above will be highly appreciated. Kind regards Sulo. Hi The dampers appeared on the S2 cars (not sure about berlina), S1 did not have them (and for some reason mine did not either). If you do not have them and there is no way of attaching them, then that was how the car came out the factory.... Someone with much more knowledge of the CV/Speedo parts will come along to answer (I hope) Peter Title: Re: Question of parts interchangeability between models Post by: betasulo on December 08, 2015, 02:20:13 AM Thanks Peter,
Mine is a series 1 coupe. One less thing to worry about. ;) Kind regards Sulo. As far as I know that's the only difference in the models. Title: Re: Question of parts interchangeability between models Post by: betasulo on December 10, 2015, 08:19:29 PM Hi Stuart,
Thanks for the info. I will have a look on mine. As I will be traveling to Australia I just want to be sure as Lancia did not sell the 1600 down under. I need CV joints and a speedo cable. The engine is rebuilt and all is well at the moment. Kind regards Sulo |
