It should also be on the VIN plate riveted to the OS inner wing / wheelarch. Title: Re: Vin/chassis number Post by: monty400k on October 25, 2015, 12:09:34 PM So, it has been ages since I originally posted this however Ive been caught up with the restoration of my MG, finally got round to opening the bonnet on the Beta to try to find the VIN plate again so I can send of the application for the V5, checked the bulkhead by the wiper motor, dont see anything there, I cant get over to the O/S wing at the moment as the car is boxed in however there is a small plate riveted onto the panel directly above the N/S headlight, is this likely to be it, what do the chassis number on these start with?Thanks
