Title: Mirror Post by: holmesgr001 on December 19, 2014, 02:32:41 PM I am picking up a door mirror tomorrow. My beta is a rhd and has a Crome mirror on the right door but not on the left. The mirror for sale would be off a right hand drive too. My thoughts are? Can I fit it to the left door. I have turned the mirror on my beta a full 180 degrees and it looks like it would work. Anyone done this?

A picture would be good of what you already have. Peter Title: Re: Mirror Post by: holmesgr001 on December 19, 2014, 04:52:01 PM (http://tapatalk.imageshack.com/v2/14/12/19/8c444d706f3b33df36580ceade6d7e72.jpg)

Thanks Peter Peter I have a broken one that would be repairable with some epoxy and small bit of steel bar (say a cut down bolt?). Your welcome to that if you want it. They come up on ebay very occasionally but vary widely in price. I have seen a pair fetch £150, but IIRC the last pair went for £35. Title: Re: Mirror Post by: MattNoVAT on December 21, 2014, 11:08:16 AM I have a spare one but its been painted black at some point and although complete its not aesthetically pleasing on the eye :-)
Title: Re: Mirror Post by: holmesgr001 on February 14, 2015, 04:20:30 PM Hi Peter, sadly I have scrapped my plans to restore the beta. I spent some of December stripping the car and there is just to much rust on the car, I wont be needing the mirror and you welcome to have it. Just posting from johannesburg

It should have a rear grub screw on the base which is normally an Allan key to loosen, then lifts off its mount which is screwed on to the door. PM details of how much you want for it + shipping. Thanks Peter Title: Re: Mirror Post by: holmesgr001 on September 23, 2015, 05:20:29 PM Hi Peter
