Title: Production Plate info Post by: dommorello on July 12, 2014, 03:54:41 AM hi there, wondering if you guys can assist me in understanding the codes and numbers listed on the production plate. obviously understand the vin number is top. guessing the E3 has something to do with air con but interested to confirm and also understand what the codes actually mean. your assistance would be much appreciated. cheers

Decoding the VIN number is pretty straight forward 828 - Beta B - Series 2 C - Coupe 1 - 2 litre Rest of number is production number of car, I think they started from 1000 The rest I have no idea on.....
