Title: Polished valve cover bolts
Post by: droptop on March 30, 2014, 06:59:07 PM
Does anyone know where I can get four polished thumb screw type valve cover bolts for the Beta engine?
I saw a set on a Guy Croft twin cam fited in a Mk1 Cortina last year but I never got to speak to the owner.
I polished my own set last year or so I thought but in reality all I did was remove the original plating and now they are oxidised and look worse than bfoee I attacked them!
Doh!

Probably a good idea Peter!
I've seen tasty alloy examples and would prefer them if I can source them.
It's just one of those little things that side track me from the more mundane tasks.....
Ooooooooh.... SHINY!
I have the attention span of a hammer and am easily distracted and amused :P
