Title: 3D Printed / Laser Sintered Parts Post by: beta.muc on September 06, 2013, 07:39:48 AM Hey Guys,
what just crossed my mind: Has anyone ever tried to laser sinter or 3D-print parts? I need two new gear linkage bushes for my coupe and thought about modelling them in 3D and sintering them at my University. Any thoughts/experiences? Cheers, Chris Title: Re: 3D Printed / Laser Sintered Parts Post by: MattNoVAT on September 06, 2013, 11:53:59 AM The gear linkage bushes have already been remanufactured by Mark Wastnidge, I thought about doing this and starting off with the sunroof plastic sliders. Nice and simple and can test it out before committing to other hard to replace bits.
Thing is though, I got distracted by emigrating! At least at the moment... ;)
