Title: Window regulator Post by: smithymc on August 27, 2013, 05:48:46 PM Having got the car back on the road, I am now looking at few of the niggles( Rev counter, etc) that wont mean taking her back off the road until the winter.
One of these is the drivers door window, which 'skips' at the same point in each turn,so I suspect the pinion/shaft( handle side is fine). Having had a quick look, the drive unit seems sealed. Am I right or do I need a new regulator complete? Then the big question- does anybody have one? re-engages on the plastic cog wheel. Geoff Title: Re: Window regulator Post by: Neil-yaj396 on August 28, 2013, 07:00:32 AM I think you can flip the cog round as well which usually helps. Mine does the same thing. Chris Bastow explained how to flip the drive but I don't remember the exact details.
