Title: advice needded Post by: raz1966 on March 12, 2013, 07:21:42 PM i have not been using my car much recently but now i would like to start using it.
the trouble i have got is everytime i leave it for a few days its hard to start. i have noticed the fuel filter is full of petrol when i leave the car after using it but after a day or so the filter is empty and it wont start. if i take the air cleaner lid off and poor a little fuel down the carb it fires up and the filter fills up and it runs ok. i guess the fuel is evapourating from the carb when its left, any ideas why? easiest solution : fit electric pump and prime before starting. Geoff Title: Re: advice needded Post by: raz1966 on March 12, 2013, 10:16:32 PM I don't want to fit an electric fuel pump, I want to keep it origianl
