Title: Rear Bleed Nipples. Post by: Tony B on June 13, 2012, 09:10:34 PM Just (at last) managed to remove the rear bleeds without the usual 'snap'. What a sod of a job!! Plenty of Plusgas, gentle heat, a bit of patience, decent 8mm socket and voila! I can now change the seals, new pads and then on with the bleed etc! Even the HB cable is in good order still - a bit of luck for a change 8)

Post by: Tony B on June 17, 2012, 08:33:28 PM Just spent a bit of time today with the Easybleed kit and although it's only the first time bleed, I have a half decent peddle!! I'd also forgotten what a bugger the inner bleed (front) is to get at once the flexi's reconnected!! Anyway, my repaired water pipe's due back this week and new water pump too. I don't doubt the rad will need re-coring (is that how you spell it?) - but maybe I can at least get her running properly. Service, belt & tensioner thereafter.
