Title: Slow progress... Post by: James on April 03, 2012, 11:31:26 PM Well just to keep you all informed, work has been on-giong with the yellow berlina since Christmas, and progress is being made.... so far the car has had a replacement fuel tank, fuel pump, fuel lines, full service, a brake hose, alternator, carb change and various other little jobs, plus all 5 wheels sandblasted, and powder coated with 5x new tyres. It's taxed and MOT'd but not quite ready for trips out yet- still several "minor" issues to attend to, but we're getting there. The white one has had it's windscreen out and refitted properly, but not too much else yet. Here are some photos to give you an idea.
Sadly, it won't be ready for the parade lap at Goodwood- we really did try our best, but it will hopefully be making an appearance very soon..... Big thanks to those who have been assisting us in many ways, not least in moral support!!! We couldn't have done it with out your help |
