Title: New Windscreens for Lancia Betas Post by: MattNoVAT on December 16, 2011, 04:53:36 PM Today I have been chatting with Pilkington Automotive in Kent who will make an OEM windscreen for any classic car including the Beta (any variation), as my original screen has a couple of places where its started to de-laminate I do not want to put a screen in only for it to come out in a 6 months to a years time because its got worse or caused an MOT failure.
Peter the guv'nor was really helpful over the phone and took the time to work out exactly which screen is required. It's a 3 - 4 week lead time on getting it produced but it comes with all correct / original markings, the correct coloured sun strip and cost is £130 plus VAT. I have to take some measurements off my original as we both want to be 100% certain that its correct when they make it. I've posted this up because I have been asked by a couple of people recently where they can get hold of windscreens for the VX Coupe or Series 3 cars. Details can be found here: http://www.pilkington.com/Europe/UK+and+Ireland/English/Automotive/AGR/pilkington+queenborough/specific+glass+for+specific+needs.htm (http://www.pilkington.com/Europe/UK+and+Ireland/English/Automotive/AGR/pilkington+queenborough/specific+glass+for+specific+needs.htm) Title: Re: Windscreens Post by: Thotos on December 16, 2011, 06:35:10 PM Pilkingtons made a windscreen for my Gamma Coupe and it was as good as new and a perfect fit.

They are located in Columbus, Ohio and can supply tinted Beta Coupe/Zagato/HPE windshields. They are light green with a dark blue band at the top. They do not have Sedan or Monte Carlo windshields. Price was $315 plus $110 for shipping.
