Title: Brake Pipe Fittings Post by: Neil-yaj396 on June 29, 2011, 06:57:11 PM Anyone know what shape fittings to use for where the solid lines fit to the flexible lines? A photo/drawing would be great. I assume they have a tapered end as I have some flat ended ones and they don't fit. I'd like to get some before I start dimantling.

I presume your renewing the metal brake pipes between the rear brake bias to the inner arch where they meet and change to the flexible rubber hose? If you can hold on till this weekend I'll be looking in detail at mine and will start my investigations and get back to you. I plan to remake all metal pipes (with either copper or cupro-nickle) and replace the existing ones, although still intact I'd rather replace with new copper pipes. Anyone know which is better to use Copper or Cupro-nickle?
