Title: Removing The dashboard Post by: Gerhard on March 09, 2011, 07:53:11 AM Morning All,
Any one that has taken out the dashboard to install a radio? (I have read the topic of Admin dated 30 December 2008 about the dashboard removal) If anybody can advise on a step by step guide for dummies. Thanks, Gerhard Title: Re: Removing The dashboard Post by: MattNoVAT on March 09, 2011, 11:39:00 AM You should not have to remove the dashboard to fit a stereo.

Should be two I think...? Title: Re: Removing The dashboard Post by: HFStuart on March 10, 2011, 07:03:58 PM Two at each end, one in the middle and one underneath the glovebox on mine.

The ashtray only has two screws holding it at the back. Cover around the lot just clipped out. That was the easy part, we then fitted the radio, but could not get the cover to fit around it. So out came the whole lot, then decide, short of cutting into the back of the plastic cover, to put the radio in the cubby. Yes I know that it's not the best, but then it is working and making music. |
