Title: Condensor?? Post by: rodney3010 on February 28, 2011, 05:08:06 PM Firstly, apologies for what may be seen as a sad case of ignorance on my part - I'll be the first to admit my enthusaism is greater than my knowledge!
I have a Spider 2000, X reg which when it last ran approx 12 months would run for a little while and then drop revs and die. I thought this sounded like a condensor problem. As the spring is coming I'm determined to get on the road and am slowly 'recommisioning'. To which end I started poking around yesterday but couldn't immediatetly find the condensor - I assumed it would be beneath the dizzy cap. Can anyone shed any light? Its a Bosch unit. Title: Re: Condensor?? Post by: Ammy on February 28, 2011, 07:59:05 PM I have a T registered Spyder which has electronic ignition and therefore no condenser. If yours has a black box mounted on thedrivers side suspension turret you also have electronic ignition. I would look at the auto choke on the carb. which may point to your problem.

Will be tackling the autochoke this week. Rodney |
